Ryan Buell Pancreatic Cancer: 'Paranormal State' Star Keeps Fans Updated On Facebook Page

'Paranormal State' Star Diagnosed With Pancreatic Cancer

The 30-year-old has been very vocal about the disease via his Facebook page, writing, "Thank you all for your continued prayers and well-wishes. I won't lie, I have been in and out of the hospital all week ... I'm able to walk now, for the most part, without my cane" on August 4.

Buell is a leader in the paranormal realm and founded the Paranormal Research Society (PRS) -- an organization he is still heavily involved with as he fights his cancer.

The reality TV star's fans have flocked to the Facebook page to show their support (the fan page has more than 82,000 likes) and for continued updates on Buell's condition.

"Everyone, as you know Ryan was in the hospital due to complications with his kidneys," a PRS staff member wrote on Buell's wall Monday. "Because his body is already a little weak, it has taken him longer to recover ... His kidney health has deteriorated due to the strain. We are asking for everyone to take 5 minutes at noon EST to focus on a white light of energy and healing around Ryan while he receives a small treatment that could help his kidneys heal rapidly."

Buell underwent a successful medical procedure Tuesday night and is currently at home resting.
