Songstress and occasional "Portlandia" maid Aimee Mann has released a video for her newest song, "I Charmer." Directed by her friend Tom Scharpling, the host of "The Best Show on WFMU," the video features Oscar-nominated actress Laura Linney as Mann's robot.
Why a robot? As John Hodgman explains at the beginning of the video, celebrities don't even need to leave their homes to go on tour. They just need to buy a robotic replica of themselves.
Perhaps that explains Mitt Romney! (It's because he is already a robot and so he wouldn't need another robot. Jokes, guys. Get some.)
