Alleged Subway Groper In New York City Jumps On Tracks To Escape Arrest (VIDEO)

Unfortunately, subway perverts are nothing new for female straphangers.

Occasionally, victims fight back with awesome rebukes (see "Then I See His Penis Out!"), and other times bystanders will confront gropers themselves, dragging them down until police arrive.

In the latest installment of subway creeps caught on video, a suspected sex offender is approached by a plainclothes officer at the 68th Street Subway station for reportedly rubbing up against a woman.

After begging the officer to be spared of punishment, the alleged groper suddenly jumps from the platform onto the tracks, darting across to the other side.

The video was captured by a witness and shows the man barely missing the dangerous third rail twice during his risky runaway.

We've been over this before, New York. It's never, ever a good idea to jump on the subway tracks.

As WPIX reports, it's unclear if the groper/jumper was caught.
