As part of the evidence against former Texas high school teacher Brittni Colleps, jurors were shown a video that allegedly showed the mother of three having group sex with five male students, the Star-Telegram reports.
At least four students have testified this week about their alleged relationships with the 28-year-old former English teacher, with some reportedly saying they do not feel like victims. According to the paper, one student using the pseudonym "Richard" testified that he was "happy" to be at Colleps' house and that during one encounter, she allegedly performed oral sex on him while two other male students had sex with her.
Another witness, who testified under the pseudonym "Aaron," told the jury that the incident allegedly captured on video at Colleps' home wasn't the only time the former English teacher allegedly had group sex with students, according to the Star-Telegram. He said there were multiple people involved on four occasions.
According to ABCnews.com, Aaron also explained in his testimony that his relationship with Colleps began over text message and as it progressed, Colleps allegedly sent him nude photos.
Texting and social media between teachers and students have come under scrutiny in recent months as multiple cases of improper relationships have surfaced involving the use of cell phones and Facebook.
While many of the recent highly publicized incidents of teacher-student relationships have involved minors -- such as the Florida science teacher who was accused of having sex with a 14-year-old student in a car last month -- the men that Colleps allegedly had intercourse with were all over 18. As a result, ABC notes that Colleps is not facing statutory rape charges. Rather, she is looking at five counts of having an improper relationship between an educator and a student.
WFAA.com previously reported the relationships that Colleps had with her male students only came to light because the students bragged about it.
