Matthew Mitcham, Gay Australian Olympic Diver, Sings 'Roam/Rome Wasn't Built In A Day' In Italy

Matthew Mitcham Gets Shirtless In Italy For Sexy B-52's Cover

As if we weren't already smitten with his " Single Ladies" and "Family Guy" theme song covers, Matthew Mitcham is back with yet another swoon-worthy music video.

Accompanied by his trusty ukulele, the Australian Olympic diver -- who has vowed to reinvent himself in time for the 2016 games in Rio Di Janeiro after his disappointing London turn -- croons a spirited mash-up of the B-52's "Roam" and Morcheeba's "Rome Wasn't Built In A Day" while touring the Italian capital.

On his YouTube page, Mitcham notes, "Add a little footage of our Roman shenanigans and 'presto!' you've got my very first iMovie!"

The clip should come as a small consolation to Mitcham's fans, who were understandably distraught by his London results as the 24-year-old openly gay diver had vowed to dive naked if he took home the gold again after his 2008 Beijing triumph.

Still, we haven't seen the last of Mitcham, who previously planned to retire after the 2012 games. "The Olympics is just the most amazing experience and I never want to miss another one again," he told the Sydney Morning Herald. "In no matter what capacity -- whether it's a diver, maybe just a springboard diver, or whether it's media or anything, I'm definitely going to be in Rio, no matter what."
