'So You Think You Can Dance': Jesse Tyler Ferguson Shaken After Powerful Performance (VIDEO)

'SYTYCD' Performance Leaves Jesse Tyler Ferguson Shaken

Thanks to his infectious enthusiasm and his clear passion for the show, "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson keeps getting invited back as a guest judge on "So You Think You Can Dance."

This time, he was on hand to watch yet another powerful performance by all-star Allison Holker. She was partnered with martial arts dancer Cole Horibe, who was asked to portray a sadistic and soulless character.

Cole perfectly captured the character, as he has in previous weeks, bringing the judges to their feet. It wouldn't be their last ovation on a night filled with strong performances. But it was this one that left Ferguson shaking and in need of a cocktail.

Mary Murphy's favorite performance was Chehon Wespi-Tschopp's Argentine tango performed with all-star Anya Garnis, while all three judges rose to their feet once again after the final number of the night: a contemporary piece featuring Tiffany Maher and all-star Ade Obayomi.

In the end, life-long best friends and ballroom dancers Witney Carson and Linsday Arnold found themselves in the bottom two girls with the latter going home. For the guys, it was Cole who was saved over Will Thomas.

"So You Think You Can Dance" moves closer to its finale, Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
