Newark Mayor Cory Booker (D) took out an ad in New Jersey's directory of delegates and reportedly misspelled President Barack Obama's name, according to the New York Post.

"Get Involved And Stay Active. Re-Elect President Barak Obama" the ad reads.

Booker is speaking Tuesday at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C. After making off-message comments about Bain Capital on "Meet the Press" in May, the longtime Obama ally later walked back his remarks and said that criticisms of Romney's record were legitimate. He recently told the Wall Street Journal that he spoke to the president after the flap to explain himself.

Booker also told the Journal that he is fundraising as a bundler and campaigning for the president. He is reportedly weighing a 2013 gubernatorial run against Gov. Chris Christie (R).
