On August 20, Kathy Griffin decided she would conquer another entertainment arena when she launched her new dance single. It's a remix of her talk show's theme song, "I'll Say It," featuring some of her more outrageous audio clips from the show. She chatted with Craig Ferguson about it on "The Late Late Show," which gave him an inspired idea.
"I’m auto-tuned within an inch of my life," Griffin said on RyanSeacrest.com, but she had fun recording the original for the talk show. According to Griffin, it was Gloria Estefan's husband, Emilio, who suggested she do a remix, and the rest was history.
But now that she's a bona fide recording artist, it's time to think about touring. Ferguson suggested they could go on tour together. Craig Ferguson and Geoff have already been remixed by KIDofBEATZ with "Here Come the Players."
"Geoff could come," Ferguson suggested to Griffin. "You could sing your song and we could do a mashup ... of your song with 'Here Come the Players.'"
Keep up with Craig Ferguson and hew new studio on "The Late Late Show" every weeknight at 12:37 a.m. ET on CBS.
