Barbara Walters To Kim Kardashian: 'Do You Want [Kanye West's] Child? (VIDEO)

Barbara Walters awkwardly grilled Kim Kardashian on Wednesday's "The View."

The legendary broadcaster has interviewed Kardashian a number of times, but she phrased some personal questions rather awkwardly this time around.

Walters first commented on Kardashian's appearance. "I said to Joy that I'm going to tell you how gorgeous you are, and Joy said everybody's going to think I'm coming on to you, but you are," Walters said.

Walters then awkwardly asked about Kardashian's boyfriend, Kanye West. "What about marriage? Do you want his child? Where are we?" she asked. When Kardashian answered vaguely, Walters pressed further. "Do you [and Kanye} talk about children? Your sisters have children," Walters said.

"Jesus," co-host Whoopi Goldberg said while slouching further into the couch. Walters shrugged in response.

Walters later thanked Kardashian for responding to her questions about West. She then called out Kardashians "people" for giving her a hard time.

"You know these are not easy questions, and I'm pushing it. You're very dear...It's nice that you're trying to answer them and I appreciate it. Cause your people were getting very upset at me so I know," Walters said.
