On Tuesday night's episode of "Conan," the host invited animal expert David Mizejewski to stop by and show off some of his exotic creatures. But what didn't make it to air turned out to be a lot more exciting.
Initially there was supposed to be a segment where O'Brien rode a water buffalo across the set, and in dress rehearsals everything went according to plan until he actually tried to get on the thing and it bucked him off.
So on Wednesday night's episode, the host proudly dropped trou and shared the enormous bruise on his hip along with the story of how he got it.
