SP, A Lawyer, And His Dior Homme-Inspired Wardrobe (VIDEO)

Lawyers Are Stylish, Too

Just because you're not in a creative field doesn't mean you can't get creative with your wardrobe, and SP (he asked we keep his name confidential), a lawyer, is testament to that statement. The German native favors loaded-on silver jewelry and head-to-toe black -- a nice spin on corporate casual.

The former model recently invited Stylelist Blogger Network members Elisa Goodkind and Lily Mandelbaum of StyleLikeU into his home to get a better understanding of his unique style and why he thinks his clothes get better with age.

SP likes to wear things that are different, and hates the idea of anyone knowing how much he paid for an item. Although he does wear designer duds, they are always sans logo, and from collections that would never be sold online or featured in the pages of Vogue. His favorite pieces are the ones that are slightly imperfect: beat-up boots, overdyed leather jackets or pieces that people think he made himself.

Although it may seem like this fashionisto was always interested in style, this wasn't the case. In fact, his mother picked out his clothes well into his teenage years, and it wasn't until the 2003 and 2004 Dior Homme collections that he became inspired by the goth collection and it's ninja-slash-rock 'n' roll feel. Although SP chose to go into law, he believes that "clothes make people" and that's why he'll forever be fascinated with fashion.

Watch the video above to find out why SP classify's himself as a nerd.
