'Gangnam Style' Gets The U.S. Naval Academy Tribute (VIDEO)

WATCH: U.S. Naval Academy Spoofs 'Gangnam Style'

The "Gangnam Style" craze continues to sweep the world after a tribute on this weekend's "Saturday Night Live" premiere. Now, the U.S. Naval Academy is taking on Psy's smash-hit with their own video.

The USNA 22nd Company created the video as a "spirit spot." They suited up and broke it down "Gangnam Style" just like Korean singer-rapper Park Jae-Sang, known as Psy. The two-minute long video shows the uniformed Naval Academy students joining the international dance craze.

They definitely did "Gangnam Style" right. Psy told Ellen DeGeneres that “[The] mindset of this dance is, dress classy and dance cheesy.”

The name of the song refers to the lavish Gangnam District, one of the most upscale areas of Seoul, Korea. The song satirizes the Gangnam man. The moves mimick a galloping horse.

"When we made this choreography, we called it 'horse dance.' I told [the director], 'Hey, this is horse dance, so let's find some horse place,'" Psy, who recently signed with Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, told Rolling Stone. "In that way, it can be more cheesy. It can be more ridiculous."

As of Monday, the video had been video over 194 million times. The song is also currently No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes chart, beating the likes of Taylor Swift, Maroon 5 and Fun.

"I have to admit I've watched it about 15 times," said a CNN anchor. "Of course, no one here in the U.S. has any idea what Psy is rapping about."

Ironically, the Gangnam District is attracting tourists because of the viral hit. "Korea Tourism has responded to this interest with their ‘One day Gangnam tour’ that begins with some ‘gangnam styling’ at a beauty salon, shopping at the Apgujeong & Cheongdam boutiques, a quick luxury coffee and brunch, followed by the casino and clubbing," according to The Hindu.
