Jake Gyllenhaal Talks Family, Reveals He's A 'Troubled Uncle'

Jake Gyllenhaal: 'I'm A Troubled Uncle'

Jake Gyllenhaal may not have any kids of his own, but he sure is a proud uncle.

The actor appeared on "CBS This Morning" to talk about his upcoming movie "End of Watch," but couldn't help but bring the conversation back to his big sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and her beautiful daughters with husband Peter Sarsgaard, Gloria Ray and Ramona.

"I play a troubled uncle [in "End of Watch"], which is not dissimilar to my real life!" Gyllenhaal joked to Gayle King, adding, "I have a 3-month-old niece and a 6-year-old niece."

The 31-year-old hunk continued to gush about the little girls, admitting that he sees a lot of similarities between Ramona and Gloria Ray's relationship and his relationship with Maggie.

"I watched my sister onstage when she was in high school and elementary school," Gyllenhaal said, confessing that he "probably" got the acting bug from Maggie.

"Now that I see my nieces together, to see how much my younger niece admires my older niece even now, even at three months old, I can see what an influence someone can [have]."

So, does Uncle Jake think Gloria Ray and Ramona will shine in the spotlight one day? "Who else of the family is in the business?" host Charlie Rose joked. "Who isn't in the business?" Gyllenhaal laughed.
