After a successful week doing the pony and lasso move all over New York, "Gangnam Style" star Psy has landed in Los Angeles.
The Korean rapper danced with dozens of new LA friends at The Grove Monday, where he taped an interview with Mario Lopez for "Extra." After the shoot, Lopez tweeted this photo of himself doing Psy's signature pony dance move:
"Extra" had posted rehearsal information about the flash mob for anyone interested in being part of the event, which, as LA Weekly points out, sort of "takes the 'flash' out of flash mob."
Still, Psy's appearance is more culturally relevant than The Grove's usual flash mob events (see Oreo's 100th birthday celebration), and we're glad LA can be part of Psy's worldwide tour to spread the gospel of Gangnam.
We'll have to wait until 7 p.m. PST to see the official video on "Extra," but for now, the video above hints at how well Angelenos have mastered Psy's moves.
