Updated story

To the delight of Chicago-area monsters, international pop diva Lady Gaga recently announced that her upcoming "Born This Way Ball" tour will include not one, but two stops in the Second City.

Gaga will play the United Center on Feb. 13 and Feb. 14, Valentine's Day, during the North American leg of the tour. Tickets sold out Friday for the Feb. 13 show, which promoted the announcement of the Feb. 14 date.

Though the concerts are still several months away, Gaga fans in Chicago likely won't need to wait that long until the singer turns up once again in their hometown. Gaga has graced the city with her presence on numerous recent occasions, likely due to her reported squeeze Taylor Kinney's gig in town filming NBC's "Chicago Fire" series.

Last week, Gaga was spotted in Wicker Park, shopping at Mojo Spa, Recycle Men's & Women's Designer Resale and Store B Vintage, as well as grabbing a drink at Salud Tequila Lounge, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The announcement comes the same week that Madonna plays two shows at the same arena -- Wednesday and Thursday evening. During a Saturday show in Atlantic City, the Material Girl dedicated her song "Masterpiece" to Gaga, thanking Mother Monster for her "imitation" and saying that "one day, very soon, we're going to be on stage together."
