Julianne Moore Wins Emmy For Sarah Palin Portrayal

Julianne Moore took home the Emmy for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Movie Emmy for "Game Change."

Moore portrayed Sarah Palin in the HBO movie and beat out Connie Britton ("American Horror Story"), Nicole Kidman ("Hemingway & Gellhorn"), Ashley Judd "Missing") and Emma Thompson ("The Song of Lunch).

"I feel so validated because Sarah Palin gave me a big thumbs down," she said when accepting her Emmy.
