Beginning Thursday, Patch -- which currently serves 62 Chicago-area communities stretching from the North Shore to the south suburbs -- will launch five new neighborhood sites within city limits.
In August, Patch launched its first Chicago portal serving the Beverly and Mt. Greenwood communities. Next up are Lincoln Park, Lake View, North Center-Roscoe Village, Bucktown-Wicker Park and Lincoln Square.
The editors staffing the new North Side sites will tell you about local breaking news, business openings and closings, interesting people, neighborhood trends, events, shopping, nightlife and crime. Patch is much more than a place where you read news. It's a place to learn about local businesses, interact with your neighbors, share your own events and photos, and express your thoughts on neighborhood issues through comments and blogs.
