'Ben & Kate': Kate Gets Revenge, Throws Ben In A Pool

Like all successful shows, chemistry is going to be a key factor in whether or not "Ben & Kate" is a success. The new Fox sitcom stars Nat Faxon and Dakota Johnson as the titular characters, and they seem to have that brother-sister chemistry nailed from the beginning. Their character traits are pretty straight-forward: An early pregnancy forced Kate to grow up, while older brother Ben still hasn't.

The AV Club wrote that they "embody a lived-in brother-sister relationship that tempers their occasional frustrations with a genuine sense of love and admiration." It's that genuine affection for one another that steers them through two awkward relationship issues in the pilot.

First, it turns out that Kate's guy is actually seeing someone else. Even worse, Ben's girl is marrying someone else. Granted, his inability to grow up is the reason she broke up with him in the first place. But what the pilot teachers the viewers, is that no matter their individual shortcomings, Ben and Kate will always be there for one another.

The real question, though, is will you be there for "Ben & Kate" on Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
