'The Neighbors' Premiere: Will Viewers Get A Chance To Get To Know These Alien Neighbors? (VIDEO)

'The Neighbors' Premiere: Aliens Aren't So Different After All

Normally being one of the most talked about new shows of the fall would be a good thing, but that hasn't been the case for "The Neighbors." The wacky series tells the story of a family that moves into a community completely populated by aliens. And well before its premiere, critics were writing it off as the worst show of the season.

Ratings will determine if viewers listened to the critics, or decided to see for themselves whether or not they enjoyed the show. After all, viewers and critics often disagree as to what makes great television.

One critic who isn't so quick to dismiss "The Neighbors" is EW's Ken Tucker. He wrote, "The show is, in general, better-acted than 'Two and a Half Men' is these days, and I’d assert that it’s funnier than another freshman show, 'Guys With Kids.'" He went on to suggest that the forthcoming CW series "Beauty and the Beast" may be far worse.

Did you give "The Neighbors" a chance, and if so will you come back for more, Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC?

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
