A shadow was cast over Glenbard South High School's homecoming week after officials at Glenbard Township High School District 87 learned student athletes were participating in underage drinking at an off-campus party.

District 87 said that 20 students will not be allowed to participate in portions of their athletic season, according to a story in the Daily Herald. School Superintendent David Larson confirmed Thursday the students were drinking at a party at a student’s home last weekend.
