Meyers And Bailey Leonard: Marine's Homecoming Surprises Younger Brother At Basketball Practice (VIDEO)

An Incredibly Touching Moment Of Brotherly Love (VIDEO)

If you want to know just how powerful brotherly love can be, watch the above video capturing an emotional and touching family reunion.

The YouTube clip, which was posted earlier this year but has recently gone viral, shows a member of the Marine Corps stationed in Afghanistan surprising his younger brother at a college basketball practice. The younger brother's reaction is tearful and incredibly heartwarming, particularly after they explain their family history.

According to the video, Meyers and Bailey Leonard's father died when they were children and the older sibling, Bailey, stepped in as a father figure. Their mother also faced health problems as well as financial difficulties as they entered high school.

"My brother Bailey, he's been a big part of my life," said Meyers, who was a sophomore center for the University of Illinois basketball team at the time of the reunion. "The bond we share is very strong."

A similarly touching homecoming video went viral earlier this year when Sergeant Adam Page, a military father, surprised his six-year-old daughter at school on her birthday. And this weekend, two former fraternity brothers in Connecticut were reunited, now as seniors, at their assisted living complex.

Were you inspired by the brothers' reunion? Do you have an amazing older sibling? Tell us in the comments below or tweet @HuffPostTeen.

Correction: An earlier version of this story indicated that Meyers is currently a sophomore center for Illinois, when in fact he was at the time of the reunion but is no longer. Furthermore, the reunion was at a basketball practice, not a game. The story has been updated to reflect this information.
