The relationship is official on "Castle," and that has lead to some complicated emotions. Especially because Beckett and Castle have agreed to try and keep their relationship secret -- although it seems unlikely to remain that way for very long. Even the case of the week had them questioning the secrecy and how it could impact the relationship.
The real test came when Castle was on a television show being interviewed about his latest book. The reporter asked him out on a date on-air, so he agreed to it. Beckett didn't like that one bit, but it was nothing to what she walked in on later after an unfortunate butt dial from Castle's phone.
What sounded like a struggle was actually -- well, it actually was a struggle, just not the violent kind. Castle was trying to thwart the advances of the reporter, and failing miserably. Beckett came in to see her on top of him in a skimpy bikini.
By the end of the hour, they'd agreed to not see one another. Their mutual jealousy at the thought of the other out with someone else simply won't allow it.
