Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard: The Real-Life Love We Can't Get Enough Of

We all know that Kristen Bell loves sloths.

But what most people don't know about the 32-year-old actress is that she’s as feisty (and fun!) in real life as her “Veronica Mars” character would suggest.

And the self-proclaimed “geek” (and brand ambassador for Neutrogena Naturals' "Jump in, Jump out, Join in" campaign) even admits she considers “exercising her Second Amendment rights” daily when older women hit on her fiancé, Dax Shepard.

“I can’t tell you how many older women are so hands-on with him when we're walking down the street!” Bell tells HuffPost Celebrity. “You don’t get to link arms and stroke his face just because you watched 'Parenthood' last night."

And though the pair met in 2007 and got engaged on Christmas Day 2010, Bell and Shepard aren't ready for a stroll down the aisle just yet.

“My [gay] friends can’t legally officiate it and I’m standing up for that,” Bell says. “We believe in equal rights for everyone … not standing in the way of anyone loving anyone.”

Bell also acknowledges that her definition of marriage is far from mainstream, transcending beyond just a “piece of paper.”

“For me personally … I don’t let whether I’ve filed a document in the state of California dictate whether or not I use the word ‘husband,''' she says.
