I've heard some people say that they believe voting for a third party candidate in the presidential election. So when Donna Brazile, Vice-Chair of the Democratic National Committee, joined me on Mondays with Marlo I just had to ask her how it was possible to ever get a third party candidate elected. Although Donna noted that the two-party system has monopolized American government, she did predict that this may end sooner than we think. Donna pointed out that today a majority of Americans are undecided voters with values somewhere in the middle of the political spectrum. Because so many people voting based on beliefs and not party lines, Donna said there could be a real change coming to the two-party system.
