Louis C.K. And Tony Hawk Chat Before Detroit Show (VIDEO)

WATCH: Tony Hawk Interviews Louis C.K. For Some Reason

When sports and comedy collide, the results can be pretty spectacular. After a recent show at Detroit's Masonic Temple, stand-up comic and recent Emmy winner Louis C.K. sat down with Tony Hawk in an interview for the skateboarder's new YouTube channel, RIDE.

The pair talked about everything from Reddit to Dane Cook cameos, but the most insightful moments were when C.K. spoke about the nature of comedy and pushing his audience's limits.

"The measure of what you should say and how good it is isn't whether it's right or wrong," C.K. said. "I'm not trying to say a bunch of right things."

The comedian didn't back down when asked whether certain sensitive issues should be given time before they're made into jokes.

"The 'too soon' thing is like, if you add time, that's bullsh*t. That's fake decency."
