Michelle Obama Answers Boxers vs. Briefs Question On 'LIVE! with Kelly and Michael'

Everyone loves seeing politicos, particularly the presidential candidates, taken out of their element and thrust onto the neon-colored stages of daytime talk shows. As Janis Ian might say, "It's like seeing a dog walk on its hind legs."

On "LIVE! with Kelly and Michael" on Thursday, Michelle Obama didn't disappoint. Clad in pink pumps and a pretty pastel dress from Prabal Gurung's Resort 2013 collection, the first lady discussed the presidential debates and her experience as a first lady. But Michael Strahan managed to fluster Mrs. O (and himself) when they got into the "lightening round" -- you know, the part that got Mitt Romney to admit he's a Snooki fan.

On Thursday, poor Michael was tasked with asking the first lady the eternal question, "For the president, do you prefer boxers or briefs?"

"Uh, uh... none of the above! Just kidding..."

We KNEW IT. Corroborating evidence (sort of): when then-candidate Barack Obama was asked the same question by Us Weekly in 2008, he replied, "I don’t answer those humiliating questions. But whichever one it is, I look good in ‘em!"

For the record, when Mitt Romney was asked the eternal "Boxers or briefs?" question on "LIVE! Kelly and Michael," he answered, "I think the best answer is as little as possible."

There you have it, folks: the one thing Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have in common.
