Harrods' Disney Princesses Campaign Includes Top Designers (VIDEO)

Cinderella in Versace! Jasmine in Escada! Belle in Valentino!

For the 2012 holiday season, Harrods invited 10 top designers to create unique dresses inspired by your favorite Disney leading ladies. The famed U.K. department store will unveil the fantastical fashions in the windows of its Knightsbridge store on November 1, writes the Telegraph, which leaves all you jetsetting Americans plenty of time to glimpse the dresses through the holiday season.

But since we're not flying to England anytime soon, there's a teaser video and sketches to get us psyched up. The concept is beautifully executed: rather than reinterpreting the original Disney animations or replicating the exact costumes, designers such as Elie Saab, Versace and Oscar de la Renta have created stunning gowns that subtly evoke each character:

  • Cinderella in Versace
  • Aurora from "Sleeping Beauty" in Elie Saab
  • Belle from "Beauty and the Beast" in Valentino
  • Ariel from "The Little Mermaid" in Marchesa
  • Snow White in Oscar de la Renta
  • Rapunzel from "Tangled" in Jenny Packham
  • Pocahontas in Roberto Cavalli
  • Jasmine in Escada
  • Tiana from "The Princess & The Frog" in Ralph & Russo
  • Mulan in Missoni

The pairings, particularly Escada for Jasmine and Marchesa for Ariel, are actually kind of perfect, non?

Check out the teaser video above and see if you can spot all 10 princesses. For a preview of the sketches, head to Telegraph.co.uk.
