Flavored potato chips and snacks -- often strange by American standards -- have long been a favorite overseas. Come October 25, KFC Japan's Savory Salt Ginger Chicken potato chips earns their place alongside the best of them.
The chips are a collaboration with Japanese snack producer Calbee and will only be available for a limited time. They'll cost about $1.90 a bag.
The move is another example of a global corporation tweaking tastes for local populations.
