No amount of rain could dampen the mood during the San Francisco Giants' raucous celebration after the final out of the 2012 NLCS.

"The rain never felt so good," NLCS MVP Marco Scutaro told reporters after the Giants clinched the NL pennant with a 9-0 rout of the St. Louis Cardinals. "We're going to the World Series, this is unbelievable."

The downpour on the field was just the beginning of a damp night for the Giants. Once in the clubhouse, rain gave way to champagne and beer. By the end of the night it was probably easier to find an unhappy Giants fan than a dry Giants player.

"How fitting that it happened in the rain," Giants president Larry Baer told the San Francisco Chronicle. "October is our most beautiful month in San Francisco and it's pouring outside. It's crazy, just like everything this team has done."

Here are several images of the Giants celebrating a berth in the World Series. "Crazy" certainly seems an apt adjective to describe the party.
