Mark Paul-Gosselaar and Rob Corddry aren't the only reasons to get excited about "Happy Endings" this season.

Jane's ex-lover, played by Briga Heelan, is headed to town.

"I think it's hilarious, because Jane definitely dabbled in a same-sex situation, so it's not that unexpected," Eliza Coupe, who plays Jane, told Vulture. "We'll get to hear about how crazy she was in art school ... I think the writers have done a great job of exploring the inner workings of Jane, why she is the way she is, how she is the way she is. I love her competitive nature."

According to TVLine, the arrival Heelan's arrival will make Jane's husband Brad (Damon Wayans Jr.) uncomfortable. Let the drama begin!

The Season 3 premiere of "Happy Endings" airs on Thurs., Oct. 24 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
