'Some Games': Giants, Tigers Inspire NOC Parody Of 2012 World Series (VIDEO)

WATCH: World Series Inspires 'Some Nights' Parody

Some nights in October are just like any other, but each year there are precious few that include a World Series game.

Just in time for Game 1 of the 2012 Fall Classic, the NOC has released an anthem for this year's World Series featuring all of the big personalities that fill both clubhouses (and the broadcast booth). The song is set to the tune of "Some Nights," a hit by Fun. Even grizzled Tigers skipper Jim Leyland gets a little recognition in the chorus.

Although the song is meant to draw laughs, the bit about Jose Valverde might strike a little too close to home for Tigers fans.

If sidelined (but center stage) Giants closer Brian Wilson needs another song to jam out to then this may be an appropriate choice. After all, does anyone believe he hasn't stayed up all night yelling at Tim McCarver?
