Krystal Ball announced some big news on Thursday's "The Cycle": she's pregnant.
The MSNBC host began the segment talking about her four-year old daughter Ella and her reactions to the campaign. Ball said that her daughter has had a host of questions over the course of the election season, including why Barack Obama and Mitt Romney can't both be president and why Romney wants to cut Sesame Street. Then, she said:
"Four years from now, we'll all be back and I'll have to answer these questions and more all over again because I just learned that I'm expecting a new little politico next summer. Maybe next time around, Ella can explain all this to her little brother or sister."
Her co-hosts S.E. Cupp, Steve Kornacki and Touré erupted in applause and well wishes. "The Cycle" tweeted, "congrats to @KrystalBall1 we are all so happy for you!" The show had teased Ball's "big news" shortly before the announcement.
