Shirtless Horse-Man Jogs Past Hurricane Sandy News Camera (VIDEO)

Jogging Horse-Man Interrupts Hurricane Coverage (VIDEO)

Sandy, meet your stud.

A shirtless jogger wearing a horse mask galloped past NBC Washington's news crew this morning, allowing newscasters some levity amid a hurricane that's already devastating the East Coast.

"I guess there's an attitude with storms -- you can either be scared and hide in your house, or you can have a sense of humor about it," the reporter said on a live shot at about 9:30 a.m.

The horse-man -- whose likeness has been claimed by Jimmy Kruyne of Arlington, VA -- appears to enjoy the fame, pumping his fists and running off into the distance.

"The news crew is down the block, I'm thinking horse mask and swimming trunks?" Kruyne wrote on his Twitter account hours before the shot.

Meanwhile, Hurricane Sandy continues to strengthen as it makes its way to the Eastern Seaboard's largest cities. Forecasters predict walls of water up to 11 feet tall, massive flooding and power outages.
