Jamal Crawford Makes Rudy Gay Fall Down With Hesitation Move (VIDEO)

First Broken Ankles Of NBA Season

Jamal Crawford broke the first pair of ankles of the 2012-13 NBA season on Wednesday night in the Clippers' season opener against the Grizzlies, and he didn't need his effective crossover to do it.

With the game tied at 83 in the middle of the fourth quarter, Crawford (nicknamed J. Crossover) tried to use some flashy moves to shake off Rudy Gay. After the Grizzlies forward fought through a screen from Lamar Odom, Crawford made a hesitation move that Gay simply couldn't keep up with. Gay fell to the ground allowing Crawford to dribble to the elbow and sink a running jumper.

"OHHHHHHH!!"

The crowd at the Staples Center sounded very impressed, as Crawford finished with a game-high 29 points (off the bench) in his debut with the Clippers. But DeAndre Jordan says Crawford pulls off moves like that all the time.

"I've seen [Jamal] do stuff that I’ve only seen on video games. It’s crazy because he does it effortlessly" Jordan told Eric Patten of NBA.com after Los Angeles' 101-92 win.
