The closing time for all polls in Florida is 7 p.m. local time. That's earlier than a lot of other states. Since part of the state is in the Central Time zone, those polls will close at 8 p.m. Eastern Time but 7 p.m. local time. Likewise, polls in the Eastern Time zone close at 7 p.m. local time, which is 6 p.m. in the Central Time zone.
The opening time for Florida polls is 7 a.m. local time. That's also earlier than many other states so Floridians have the opportunity to vote early in the morning.
Not sure where to vote? The State of Florida advises you to contact your Supervisor of Elections. You should be able to find the appropriate local official through some quick Internet searching.
