Now that we're in the thick of Season 4 of "Parenthood" (Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC), Hank (Ray Romano) has become an obvious threat to Sarah (Lauren Graham) and Mark's (Jason Ritter) relationship.

So how's Ritter feeling about Hank's presence on the series? He's a little threatened himself.

"[Sarah] and Mark have been through a lot, but now that they're living together, the realities are different from the fantasy dating section of the relationship," Ritter told TV Guide. "Hank is so real and grounded, even if he does have a bleak outlook. Mark has a lot of ideals.

"Though the sooner Hank gets out of town, the better," he added.

Romano told HuffPost that he was worried about getting in between Ritter and Graham's characters initially. "I remember when I found out that there was going to be a little more between Hank and Sarah, I called up Jason Katims and I said, 'Listen. If I'm going to get in the middle of this thing with Jason Ritter, please, we've got to make sure we see something that she sees in this guy. Please, give the audience something to hang on to,'" he told HuffPost.

"Parenthood" airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
