And now in breaking Britney news: Just two days after pop's reigning princess was seen checking into a hotel in Los Angeles unaccompanied, Us Weekly has a curious item today that claims betrothed couple Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are headed toward a rough patch. Specifically, the magazine quotes a source who claims that Trawick has taken to "mocking" Spears for her attention-needy ways. The insider would be "shocked if they got married."
"The romance is gone," the source said. "[Trawick] puts her on speakerphone so friends can hear her nagging."
Unsurprisingly, Spears' rep has flatly denied the report: "That's not Jason's style. They're happy."
Spears, 30, and manager Trawick, 40, became engaged in December 2011, after dating for two years. Trawick maintains a low-key but omnipresent influence in the "X Factor" judge's personal and professional life: He can sometimes be seen in the audience or backstage on the Fox singing competition show.
