A Cook County judge granted temporary landmark status to Northwestern University’s former Prentice Women’s Hospital on Thursday, meaning the city cannot issue a demolition permit for now.
“We’re going to do no harm to Prentice while this can be resolved.’’ said Judge Neil Cohen.
The next hearing is scheduled for Dec. 7.
