'Survivor: Philippines': Lisa Whelchel Struggles With The Deception (VIDEO)

'Survivor: Philippines': Lisa Whelchel's Moral Struggle

Lisa Whelchel found herself in a pretty unlikely position, considering how her early game had gone. Thanks to a strong tribe never losing an immunity challenge, Lisa was able to sail into the merge. It was here that she really started to play the game on "Survivor: Philippines."

Last week, she took a big chance and tried to make a move to get Malcolm and his hidden immunity idol out of the game. The move didn't work, but even worse for the former "Facts Of Life" child star was how she felt afterward. She clearly loves the game, but struggled with the dirtier elements of how to play.

Her big struggle this week was with loyalty. Even though she and Michael Skupin were clearly on the bottom of their original tribe, she had a sense of loyalty to them. But after Abi insulted her again this week, Lisa started to wonder if she was trying to stick with them out of a fear of being disliked.

At Tribal Council, Skupin made a bold move, siding with the other tribe and voting off one of his own in Artis, while Lisa voted for Jonathan Penner.

Watch it play out as "Survivor: Philippines" continues on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this post stated that Lisa voted for Artis and Skupin voted for Penner.
