Nutritionist and host of The Cooking Channel's "Healthy Appetite" Ellie Krieger gave suggestions for nut substitutions in recipes when she met with me on Mondays With Marlo. Depending on what the recipe calls for, you may be able to use a different kind of nut, sunflower seeds, bread crumbs or shaved coconut to add crunch to your food without putting anyone's health at risk.
