Martin Scorsese was born in Queens, New York on Nov. 17, 1942. In the 70 years since his birth, he's responsible for some of the most indelible images in the history of film. From "Mean Streets" and "Taxi Driver" to "Raging Bull" and "Goodfellas" to "The Departed" and "Hugo," Scorsese contributions to film will be remembered and imitated probably throughout the rest of time.

To celebrate Scorsese's big milestone, HuffPost Entertainment has compiled 70 of the best quotes from his films. "You talkin' to me?" is there; so is "I get to live the rest of my life like a schnook." But is "I'm gonna make all this meat"? You'll have to find out in the slideshow below. Leave your favorite lines -- whether they get mentioned or not -- in the comments section.
