Ndamukong Suh Kicks Matt Schuab In Groin (Accidentally, Right?) [UPDATED]

Suh's Thanksgiving Foot Strikes Again

Ndamukong Suh seems to be adding his own violent twist to the Detroit Lions' pre-existing Thanksgiving tradition. One year after stomping on Green Bay Packers guard Evan Dietrich-Smith, Suh kicked Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub in the crotch.

In the first half against Houston, Suh was dragged down right in front of Schaub after he had thrown a deep pass. But on his way down to the turf, Suh's left foot connected with Schaub's groin, sending him to the ground. The officials didn't call a penalty and Schaub stayed in the game.

Given Suh's history and the perception around the league that he's the NFL's dirtiest player, do you think it was accidental? The reaction on Twitter was mixed.

Coincidentally, Texans linebacker Brooks Reed who had to leave the game with a groin injury.

UPDATE: According to Mike Freeman of CBS Sports, Suh could be facing a one-game suspension.

"When you consider the history, everything is on the table. Repeat offenders are going to run out of benefit of the doubt faster than someone who is a first-time offender," NFL executive vice president of football operations Ray Anderson told ESPN on Friday. "If I were a judge in the courtroom, and you're in for a third-time DUI, I'm going to look at that differently than if this is your first DUI -- even if you didn't maim anybody."
