Jillian Martone, Boca Raton Woman, Attacks Man After He Refused To Be Her Boyfriend, Cops Say

Man Survives TERRIBLE First Date

Maybe this is a story they'll tell their children some day.

In what could charitably be described as a bad first date, Jillian Martone, 35, is accused of attacking Efren Molina, 39, early Wednesday night at Molina's Boca Raton, Fla. home after he refused to say he was her boyfriend.

Martone allegedly punched Molina and threatened him with a knife after he disagreed with a comment she made about being his girlfriend, according to a police report obtained by the Sun Sentinel.

Molina was eventually able to wrest the knife out of Martone's hand and then dragged her out of his home and locked the door, according to the report.

"It was apparent that Martone was the aggressor," the report said.

NBC South Florida reports that Martone remains in jail on a $9,000 bond. She is charged with aggravated assault, battery and burglary.

Georgia Daily News reports that Martone has had previous run-ins with the law.

She was charged with DUI and possession of a "harmful drug" without a prescription in March, 2011.

Three months earlier, she was arrested on charges of drunk and disorderly conduct and causing a public disturbance.
