"New Girl" tackled procrastination and procreation in an emotional week for most of the cast. Only Winston avoided an emotional breakdown, though that could be because of his "adjusted schedule." Schmidt wasn't doing so well with pleasing his boss in the bedroom, while Jess was freaking out about whether or not she would be able to have children.
Cece, on the other hand, was very adamant that she did not want to have any children. Nevertheless, she agreed to go to the doctor and get checked out as well. So of course it turned out that Jess had plenty of healthy eggs while it was Cece who needed to start thinking now about whether or not she ever wanted kids.
Nick was facing a personal battle of his own. Having never finished anything, he determined to finally write that zombie novel. This led to plenty of procrastination, including a drunken trip to the zoo for "inspiration."
In the end, Nick did finish that novel -- and it was epically horrible. He even put word searches in there that contained no words.
