Gavin Pope, 4, Is The Cutest CNN Guest Of All Time

WATCH: The Cutest CNN Guest Of All Time

Thirteen-year-old McKenna Pope appeared on CNN Tuesday to discuss an important topic -- gender inequality in toy marketing. But McKenna's little brother, Gavin, seated on his mother's lap, had other ideas about the tone of their interview.

The family was invited onto the news program to discuss McKenna's recent petition, urging Hasbro to change how they advertise Easy-Bake Ovens. She had noticed that the popular toy is marketed only to little girls -- commercials show moms and girls baking and the toy is sold in pink and purple exclusively. But McKenna wants her little brother to know that it's OK for him to want to be a chef, and that both boys and girls can play with this type of toy. Her request is that Hasbro starts putting images of boys on the box.

The video that McKenna and Gavin made together to explain the cause has gone viral, and during the CNN segment, the teen proved to be smart, confident, brave and passionate (seriously, we're so impressed with her).

However, little Gavin couldn't let big sister get all the attention. Watch the video above to see him in action, feel free to laugh out loud, and then turn your attention back to the issue at hand. Click over to Change.org to sign McKenna's petition.
