4 Shot Inside Logan Square Nightclub

Four men were shot early Wednesday at a private party inside a Logan Square bar.

The shooting took place around 12:30 a.m. at the Ultra Lounge, 2169 N. Milwaukee Ave. According to ABC Chicago, an argument of some sort broke out and shots were fired, leaving four young men -- ages ranging from 24 to 33 -- with non-life-threatening wounds.

A spokeswoman for the bar told the Chicago Tribune the incident was part of "a pretty uncharacteristic night" and that the shots had come "out of nowhere." A group of young men had rented out part of the bar for a party featuring hip-hop performers.

The men wounded in the shooting were last listed in stable condition, according to NBC Chicago. No one has been arrested in the incident as of early Wednesday morning, but police recovered two guns from the scene.

Shootings last month in Chicago were up 49 percent over 2011 numbers, while shootings over the first 11 months of the year are up 11 percent over last year,
