Casey Wilson Takes Over 'Chelsea,' Gets Helmet From Adam Pally

It was both an extension of "Happy Endings" and a fun behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show when Casey Wilson took over "Chelsea Lately." She was the guest-host, and so she brought on her "Endings" co-star Adam Pally as her guest.

He even brought her a gift. It was a bedazzled bike helmet, and it wasn't as random as it may have seemed at first. It turns out Wilson got a concussion last week on the set of their show -- an event "Happy Endings" worked into its storyline -- and it was kind of all Pally's fault.

As he explained it, "I took the boom mic, and I was dipping it into frame and resting it on Damon Wayans, Jr.’s, top lip so it looked like a black penis was resting on his lip."

It was all very funny, Wilson agreed. That is, until she dropped her phone. After retrieving it, she stood up and smacked her head on the lowered mic. It was a serious enough injury to send Wilson to the hospital. Pally promised to never do that "bit" again, but just in case, Wilson now has the proper safety equipment.

Catch both Casey Wilson and Adam Pally on "Happy Endings," Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. "Chelsea Lately" airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET on E!
