King Loses Crown 'My Revenge' Video Features Criminal Robots In San Francisco (VIDEO)

The Coolest Music Video Filmed In SF This Year?

Our city is often been the star of music videos by local rockers. We've seen yarnbombed thrift shops, angry bicyclists and same-sex marriages interrupted, "Graduate"-style.

But San Francisco inhabited by CGI criminal robots is something we hadn't seen. And the result is kind of terrifying.

In their new video "My Revenge," local rockers King Loses Crown channeled all of our nightmares and put them in our city streets: Robot murder, robot suicide, robots stalking children at the playground and dealing drugs outside of a massage parlor.

The video features shots of Golden Gate Park, the Tenderloin and some sketchy spots near the freeway.

As SF Weekly noted, the video was directed by Jim Mitchell, who handled visual effects for "Sleepy Hollow," "Jurassic Park III" and the "Harry Potter" series. So clearly he's not messing around.

And to top it all off, the song is pretty good, too.
