Jennifer Lawrence Gets Big Golden Globes Honor

The Best Actress nominees, Musical or Comedy, at the Golden Globes are Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Judi Dench, Emily Blunt and Maggie Smith.

The 2013 Golden Globes also honored Hugh Jackman, Bradley Cooper and more in the Best Actor - Musical or Comedy category. The 70th annual Golden Globes, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, will be awarded on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013.

Lawrence, who tied with Emmanuelle Riva for Best Actress at the Los Angeles Film Critics Association awards on Sunday, was nominated for her star-turn in "Silver Linings Playbook." In the film, Lawrence plays Tiffany, a widowed and mentally unstable young woman who forms a relationship with the equally unstable Pat (played by Golden Globe nominee Bradley Cooper).

Streep, who won at the 69th annual Golden Globes for Best Actress - Drama for "The Iron Lady," was selected for her work in "Hope Springs."

Judi Dench, who also starred in "Skyfall," was nominated for "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel."

Maggie Smith, Dench's "Marigold Hotel" co-star, was hailed for "Quartet." Emily Blunt was a surprise inclusion for "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen."

At the 69th annual Golden Globes, Michelle Williams won Best Actress - Musical or Comedy, topping Kristen Wiig ("Bridesmaids"), Kate Winslet ("Carnage"), Charlize Theron ("Young Adult") and Jodie Foster ("Carnage").
