The media world is a competitive place. Media figures' intense drives to be first, to be right, and to be heard often clash with fellow industry personalities, resulting in very public and sometimes very catty feuds.
2012 hosted a number of such arguments — and the election year did little to temper these outbursts. Media personalities have multiple platforms at their fingertips, from their own TV shows, to Twitter accounts, to columns, and in the case of Donald Trump, insanely high quality HD video messages posted on YouTube. And yes, they used all of these channels to get their messages across.
